Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Hachimei (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

  • The Service calculates your Four Pillars chart from your birth details and provides readings, luck cycles, compatibility, reports and AI chat.
  • Readings are for entertainment and reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.

2. Your account

  • Please sign up with accurate details. You are responsible for your account.
  • You must be at least 14 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to create an account.

3. Subscriptions and free trials

  • Paid plans run for 1, 6 or 12 months and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • If a plan includes a free trial, cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. The first payment is taken when the trial ends.
  • We remind you 3 days before each renewal. You can cancel anytime from the Me page, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

4. Refunds

  • If you have not used paid features, you can request a full refund within 7 days of payment.
  • Purchases made through an app store follow that store’s refund policy. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer protection law.

5. What you must not do

  • Enter or use someone else’s details without their permission
  • Scrape the Service or place excessive load on it by automated means
  • Copy, distribute or sell the Service’s content without permission

6. Our content

  • Reading texts, design and logos belong to the operator.

7. Limitation of liability

  • We are not responsible for decisions you make based on readings.
  • We are not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Changes to these terms

  • We will post changes at least 7 days in advance (30 days if they are to your disadvantage).

9. Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes go to the Saitama District Court as the court of first instance, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country.
